In June 2008, the GFCM Committee on Aquaculture met to discuss the Working Group on Sustainability, emphasizing environmental and economic sustainability in aquaculture practices.
May 2008
The Scientific Advisory Committee convened for the second Working Group on Stock Assessment Methodologies, aiming to refine assessments critical to the management of fish stocks. An Ad Hoc Workshop on the Regional Fleet Register was held to improve the monitoring of fishing vessels.
February 2008
The 32nd session of GFCM took place alongside the second session of the Committee on Compliance, both significant for ensuring the adherence of member states to agreed policies and recommendations.
Joint Meetings
